Referral privacy notice
This notice explains how Yogel Ltd uses information submitted through the Justrite distributor support form. It applies only to this referral service and was last updated on 31 July 2026.
Your details are used to respond to the product-support request you make. They are not added to an unrelated marketing list, and the referral webpage itself does not receive or store your answers.
Who is responsible for your information?
Yogel Ltd is the controller for information you submit through this Microsoft form. Contact us at t.dempsey@yogel.co.uk.
If Justrite supplied the form link, Justrite remains responsible for its separate use of information already held in its own systems. Information entered into this form is sent directly to Yogel.
What we collect
We collect your name, company, work email address, optional telephone number, site postcode, preferred contact method, product requirement and your referral confirmation. Please do not include sensitive or special-category personal information in the free-text field.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
We use the information to acknowledge your request, provide product guidance, prepare quotations, contact you in the way requested and maintain a limited record of the enquiry.
Where you are requesting steps before a possible purchase, we rely on Article 6(1)(b) of the UK GDPR. For business-to-business enquiries and administration, we rely on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) in responding to requested product support. We do not use this referral permission for unrelated direct marketing.
Who receives it
Access is limited to authorised Yogel personnel who handle the referral. Microsoft provides Microsoft Forms, Microsoft 365 and the automated confirmation service as a contracted technology provider. We may disclose information where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
International processing
Microsoft may process information in the UK and other countries. Where information is transferred internationally, Microsoft describes the legal safeguards it uses in its privacy statement.
How long we keep it
Referral-form records are normally kept for up to 12 months after the last contact, then deleted or anonymised. If the enquiry becomes a customer transaction, or a legal, accounting, warranty or dispute record must be retained, the relevant information may be kept for the applicable business or legal retention period.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your information, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can make a request or withdraw the referral before contact by emailing t.dempsey@yogel.co.uk.
You have the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests. We will stop unless we have compelling legitimate grounds to continue or need the information for legal claims.
You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Automated decisions
The confirmation email is automated, but Yogel does not use the form to make automated decisions or profile you.
